The La Porte Police
Department has arrested two adult males in connection to the recent rash of
vandalisms to business and vehicle windows that took place during the overnight
hours of February 20th and February 21st, 2008. Arrested
in connection with these cases were Andrew J. Thode, age 19, and Michael D.
Shore, age 19, both of Rolling Prairie, IN.
The investigation led
by Det. Sgt. Paul Brettin, included the fine work of Detectives Victor Aguilar
and Brett Airy to bring these cases to a close within 48 hours of their
occurrence. Four businesses, and upwards of seventy vehicles that were damaged
during this crime spree. Total damages are estimated to be in excess of
